Allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever, is a common condition that causes inflammation in the check here nose. This inflammation is triggered by an overreaction of the immune system to usually harmless substances called allergens. Frequent allergens include pollen from trees, grass, and weeds; dust mites; pet dander; and mold spores. Symptoms
